Who we are

The controller is PaneFix, run by Alex B as an individual. Contact: panefix.hello@gmail.com.

What we collect and where from

For business-to-business outreach we collect business email addresses that companies publicly list as support or contact addresses, for example on their App Store listing or their own website. With each address we record the company name, the app name, the source URL where we found it, and the date we collected it. If you reply, we also keep the emails you send us.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use this information to contact companies about making their existing iOS app fit properly to iPhone Duo. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): a relevant, low-volume offer to a business at an address it publishes for enquiries. We only send unsolicited emails to UK limited companies and LLPs (corporate subscribers). We do not cold-email sole traders, partnerships, or anyone whose status is unclear.

Opting out

You can object at any time. Reply "no thanks" (or "STOP") to any email, or email us, and we won't email you again. Your right to object to direct marketing is absolute.

Suppression list

When you opt out, we keep only your email address on a suppression list, so that we can make sure we never contact you again. We check this list before every send.

How long we keep it

If you don't reply, we delete your lead details within 12 months of collection. If you opt out, we delete everything except your address on the suppression list, which we keep for as long as we do outreach. If you become a client, we keep correspondence for as long as needed for the work and our legal and accounting obligations.

Sharing

We don't sell your data. We send and receive email through Grok Bot's email service (mail.grokbot.com), which processes data on our behalf only to deliver and store our mail.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to data portability where it applies. Email us to use any of these rights.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, telephone 0303 123 1113.
